There are various kinds of fruits produces in Bangladesh. The fertile land of Bangladesh has made the production of fruits easy. Some of them are large, others small. Some are green some are yellow, many of them are sweet and few are sour. Most of them are fleshy, while a small number contain watery juice. But whatever may be their size, colour and taste. Almost all of them are healthy giving. The mango, the jack-fruit, the pain –apple, coconut, orange, papaw, palm, guava, and banana are familiar. The Jack-fruit is our national fruit.

Bangladesh is a land where various kinds of birds are found. Some of them are living near our houses, in woods, marshy land and hills. They are different in colour, size and habit. Their food also is different. Some feed on worms and insects, some feed on fish and flesh and some on fruits and grains. The Doil, the sparrow, the bou-katha-kao, the pigeon, the swan, the cock, the parrot, the Mayna, the chandana and the cockatoo are most familiar. The Doil is our national bird. Except this, there are many birds in Bangladesh. Birds are wonderful gifts of nature.
